  • Survey says, 'I was taking the classes in the command format and for some reason this lesson is in the graphical format and I am wondering why.'

  • Survey Says
    Exchanges
  • We conducted a test and found it takes an average of 11 minutes to complete a "basic" exchange in the Command Page and only 5 minutes to complete one in the Graphic Page. We then decided to always teach Exchanges in the Graphic Page because the process is faster and easier, and you avoid having to learn or always look up those lengthy formats. The beauty of Amadeus Selling Platform is that you can work in both the cryptic and graphical environments. It's a matter of getting to know which tasks are best to do in each environment so you can work smarter and more productively.

  • Live Online Courses On Demand: Same content, same instructors, your schedule!

  • Amadeus e-University
    On Demand
  • Thanks to you, Live Online continues to be a popular vechicle to deliver training, but we understand it isn't always easy, or possible, to take the time to attend. That's why we're giving you something you've always wanted: Live Online course content On Demand.

An On Demand course is pre-recorded by an instructor who delivers the same content they would cover in Live Online. You even get a Knowledge Check, an evaluation, and the opportunity to print a certificate of completion once the process is complete. On Demand courses range from about 30 to 60 minutes and have all of the properties of a video so you can pause, move forward and back, or stop and continue later.

  • Improve Your Agency's Air Quality: Tip #3 Avoid Pesticides

  • Going Green
  • Nobody hates creepy-crawlies more than I do, but we could—and should—avoid chemicals that can harm us. Why? The effects of pesticide exposure can range from something as simple as stinging eyes, headaches, nausea and diarrhea to more chronic adverse health effects like cancer, birth defects and neurological toxicity. But, are we really exposed? Consider these findings:

  • Improve Your Agency's Air Quality Tip #2: Ventilate

  • Going Green
  • According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), indoor air pollution is among the top five environmental health risks. The best ways to improve indoor air quality are to control or eliminate the sources of pollutants and to ventilate with clean outdoor air. In Tip #1, we discussed reducing pollutants by bringing plants to work. What can we do to ventilate?

  • No TRAMS? The Amadeus Script Library is still for you!

  • Script Library
  • While the Amadeus Script Library is only compatible with TRAMS back-office systems at this time, you don't have to be a TRAMS user to get value out of the Library. Most of the scripts in the Library do not require a back-office, or even customization, and can be used as is.

  • The Video Library is the first of several new learning options we will be launching this year that are geared towards giving you greater flexibility without sacrificing learning value. The Video Library is composed of short videos, many under 2 minutes, that show you how to complete a task in either the Amadeus Selling Platform Command Page (CP) or Graphic Page (GP). Each narrated video targets a key task and shows you exactly what you need to get it done. The videos launch in a separate window you can maximize.

  • Improve Your Agency's Air Quality: Tip #1

  • Going Green
  • When we hear "environment" and "air quality," most of us probably think of the outdoors. But did you know that indoor air can be two to five times more polluted than outdoor air? The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates so. And considering we spend 90% of our time indoors, we should work on making our indoors more green. How do we do that? Know your pollutants and their effects, and follow Tip #1.

  • Happy Birthday, blog!

  • General
  • Wow, a whole year has passed since we launched The Voice of Amadeus e-University. Time flies, and we've certainly had fun! It's great to see the readership growing and the hits increasing. We started this blog not only to provide you with the latest training news, but to more easily interact and collaborate with you. We can still remember the first comment that was posted...it was like hearing our baby say its first word. So thanks to all of you, and remember, it's your voice we want to hear. Tell us what you need and we'll do our best to provide it.

  • In Training Services, we're serious about saving the earth.

  • Going Green
  • While we are not thinking of investing in a windmill farm to power our Learning Management System, we have been thinking about the little things when it comes to being green. Which brings us to one money saving, and green, feature we have talked about but not implemented—using online books instead of printed books in classroom training.
